Kakishibuzome Bags by Kyoko Tomizawa

From September 18th to 23rd, we have an exhibition of Kakishibuzome bags made by Kyoko Tomizawa at our Kiyosumi Babaghuri shop. Kakishibuzome is a persimmon tannin dye.
Kyoko dyes cotton with kakishibu and makes various bags. Especially for this occasion, she made bags with our hand printed linen fabric.

Opening reception
September 18th from 5pm to 7pm (Open to the public)
We serve Babaghuri herb tea as well as some snacks baked in our own kitchen.

Kyoko Tomizawa will be at the Babaghuri shop
on September 18th, 19th and 20th.
